Experience the true wonder of a Gorilla Adventure Safari in Uganda where you will walk through the magical forests and, if you are lucky, spend some time with these magnificent gorillas. Starting and ending in Entebbe, Uganda – 5 Days

Tour Highlights:

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Visitors can also see chimpanzee, monkeys, elephants, small antelope, as well over 360 bird species and over 200 butterfly species. This area contains 23 bird species that are restricted to the Albertine Rift, which cannot be seen in any other part of East Africa!

Lake Mburo National Park – Given that it is centred on a series of swamp-fringed lakes, the park is teeming with 310 recorded bird species, including 60 specialist water birds. The open Water birds include; Pink-backed pelican, Darter, White pelican, Yellow-billed duck, Long-tailed cormorant, White winged black tern and Greater cormorant. Lakeshore and swamp birds include the Fish eagle, Pied kingfisher, African finfoot, Great white egret, and Night heron. The green acacia woodland surrounding the lakes provides shelter to 68 different species of mammals, including zebra, topi, warthog, buffalo, impala, roan, leopard, hyena, jackal, and the last surviving Ugandan population of eland.

Gorilla Trekking –  One of the top attractions in Uganda is to explore the forests and discover the vast variety of wildlife that live within Uganda, including the Mountain Gorilla.

Travel Information

Accommodation: For this accommodated safari, we make use of mid-range lodge accommodation with en-suite facilities. Your accommodation is situated in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. The property is equipped with a bar and restaurant area.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner will be prepared by the lodge where you are staying. They will also prepare lunch or a lunch pack depending on the itinerary for the day. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance.

Visas:  The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit Uganda, prior to departure.

Travel Insurance: Please note that travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory for every guest travelling with Jenman African Safaris. All insurance is solely the responsibility of our guests.
