This tour combines a trip to the scenic Stellenbosch Winelands with a few wine tastings during the day – for an adventurous way to travel with a very low impact on the environment.
The tour starts at 9h00 in Stellenbosch’s city centre where each guest collects a bike and helmet. As we’re sure that you’ll fall in love with some wines during the day, our guide will carry a backpack for those who would like to buy some bottles. The tour starts with visiting historic sites before heading to the scenic Jonkershoek Valley. Continuing along the road, lined with oak trees, we reach the first wine estate that is nestled in a valley.
Take in the breath-taking views and enjoy wine tasting from this award-winning estate. The journey continues out of the valley with another stop at a historic wine estate with Cape Dutch architecture. Enjoy a chocolate and wine tasting at this estate. After the tasting, we head back into Stellenbosch Town via the Stellenbosch University.
