Kruger National Park

There are eight main gates in the Kruger National Park, and the Park itself is home to six ecosystems, 517 different bird species and the world-renowned Big Five. A study conducted into 2009 revealed that the Park hosts up to 1 500 lions, 11 600 elephants, 27 000 buffalos, 1 000 leopards and 350 black rhinos.

Game walks in the Kruger National Park

Game walks in the Kruger are not strenuous and give you the opportunity to encounter giraffe, zebra, warthog and kudu, to mention just a few. Kruger game drives are often 3-4 hours long and give you another opportunity to spot wildlife that you could not find during your game walk.

There are two comfort stops en-route allowing you to stretch your legs and purchase drinks and snacks. On arrival you will be collected at the drop off point and driven to the camp where you will meet your ranger. Guests can expect to see the full big five in the area, which are regularly sighted.
Your typical day will start with an early morning wake up call followed by coffee and a light breakfast. We then head off on our morning game walk. Taking place in this flat area, the walk is not too strenuous and gives you the opportunity to encounter giraffe, zebra, warthog and kudu, to mention just a few. You then have a few hours to relax at the facilities of the camp. We then head off on our afternoon and night game drive, taking 3 to 4 hours. On return to the camp, we end our day with dinner at the lodge and coffee/tea around the camp fire.
On the day of departure you will go out for one last walk in the morning. After breakfast, you will be transferred back to the city.
