Known as the ‘place of elephants’ Ivory Lodge is found deep in the mystical teak forests of Hwange. The Lodge is set in its own 6 000 acre conservancy bordering Hwange National Park – the largest national park in Zimbabwe and equivalent in size to Wales. Spend your days observing the regions huge herds of elephants that the area is famous for game drives and walking safaris or even from the comfort of your balcony!

Hwange has always been one of the best places to visit for a broad range of safari experiences and Ivory Lodge is “big game” country – lion, elephant, leopard, giraffe, buffalo, wild dog, many antelope species as well as an incredible variety of birdlife are seen regularly from camp as well as in the park. The Lodge is built in the treetops of giant teak forests and offers personal attention to a maximum of 12 guests only.
The Lodge consists of 6 elevated en-suite rooms all of which have sweeping views of the waterhole, which is floodlit at night allowing for superb game viewing opportunities. These intimate and luxuriously decorated suites provide guests with maximum privacy. All bathrooms are equipped with showers, hand basins and flushing toilets.
