Highlights of the Tour

Kruger National Park – There are eight main gates in the Kruger National Park, and the Park itself is home to six ecosystems, 517 different bird species and the world-renowned Big Five. A study conducted into 2009 revealed that the Park hosts up to 1 500 lions, 11 600 elephants, 27 000 buffalos, 1 000 leopards and 350 black rhinos.

Game Walks – The walk is not too strenuous and gives you the opportunity to encounter giraffe, zebra, warthog and kudu, to mention just a few.

Game Drives – Enjoy 3-4 hour long game drives for another opportunity to spot wildlife that you could not find during your game walks.

Accommodation

The camp has five chalets and a tree house where more adventurous guests can sleep under the stars. Two of the chalets are family units. The camp facilities include a main area which houses a comfortable lounge area with two sitting areas and a library. The dining room has a large table where, as per safari tradition, everyone dines together to enjoy each other’s company and share stories of the day’s game sightings.

Transport

You will be picked up and dropped off at the Bus Terminal Building at OR Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg.

Meals

Meals included in your safari will be taken in the dining area at the camp. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance.

Visas

The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit South Africa prior to departure.
