Day Trip Overview
After a 20 – 25 minute boat trip the shark cage diving takes place, which by itself is an exhilarating adventure.
Be prepared for a combination of goosebump thrills, education, and relaxation in the company of experienced experts and researchers!
Gain the knowledge to distinguish between a male and female shark and how to identify a specific shark by its unique dorsal fin and scars. Receive a pre-trip safety briefing about what to expect during the trip as well as a debriefing followed by soup and bread to warm you up.
Pre-tour Prep
Spending money: Clients are advised to bring enough money to cover the purchase of curios, and additional entertainment. South African Rand is the most practical and convenient currency. There are automatic teller machines (ATM’s) available. International credit cards and travellers cheques are widely accepted.
Insurance:It is compulsory for all travellers to have insurance covering their personal requirements, medical expenses and personal possessions. This is to be arranged before leaving your home country. Jenman Safaris has comprehensive public liability insurance.
