Just as great elephant herds migrate between the wildlife-rich regions of Chobe and Hwange, so too can safari enthusiasts explore these two most magnificent regions. Our Jenman Select Chobe & Hwange Hideaway safari lodges boast locations that are far away from the crowds so guests can experience a unique African hideaway that sits within bucket list destinations. Experience the beauty of the bush on foot, through guided safari walks; on 4 wheels, as your traverse the wilderness in open safari vehicles; on water, experiencing the wild from a different viewpoint on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi and a river cruise along the Chobe; and even in the air, with the option of a hot air balloon trip in Botswana.

Explore the two neighbouring wildlife regions of Chobe and Hwange, starting and ending in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. An unforgettable Botswana and Zimbabwe safari package over six days. Outstanding game viewing activities and park fees are all included.

Tour Highlights:

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – Although not the widest or highest waterfall in the world the mighty Zambezi River plummets over the cliffs at Victoria Falls to create one of the most spectacular sheets of falling water in the world.  After the rainy season, the spray generated from the falls can be seen from over 5km away, and the loud crashing of the water has earned this natural wonder the nickname, “the smoke that thunders”. This is a bucket list destination on your Zimbabwe safari!

Kazuma Forest Reserve – Nestled within one of the world’s busiest elephant corridors, Kazuma Forest Reserve lies between two of Africa’s greatest wild parks: Chobe National Park and Hwange National Park. Woodland, forest, open plains and pans make up the very diverse habitat that is home to a variety of wildlife including lion, leopard, wildebeest, the rare sable, giraffe, buffalo and more. The elephant sightings in Kazuma Forest reserve are phenomenal and a highlight of this leg on your Botswana safari

Hwange National Park – Zimbabwe’s largest and oldest national park is an excellent destination for those wishing to encounter the Big Five on safari. Every year without fail this gem has treated visitors to truly magical game viewing experiences in the heart of the Zimbabwe bush.

Hwange is famous for its massive elephant herds second only to Chobe in Botswana. There was no permanent water in Hwange but the installation of artificial water points – over 60 in number changed the numbers of elephant and other game significantly. Enjoy game drives, guided walks and more whilst on safari in Hwange.
