Jason and Tina –
We went on the Jenman Tanzania breakaway safari in Jan 2013. It was amazing! The weather was great, we saw the big 5 plus other animals too, and the landscape was stunning. Jenman exceeded our expectations in terms of their Safari guide. Charmy, our guide, was knowledgeable, experienced, and personable.
We had a blast.
cheers
The Lavery Family –
Hi Johan, The Lavery party would like to thank you most sincerely for a wonderful trip. Alex made the trip for us His friendly approach and amazing knowledge of wildlife brought the trip to life for us. You have a gem there.
We would like to view the Mara crossing in November and would really appreciate having Alex with us again. By the way your new van created interest wherever we went .It was roomy and we had great space to view the animals
Kind Regards, Terry

I just thought you may like to hear from us to let you know how we are going. It would take me days of writing to tell you everything but suffice to say our expectations have been greatly exceeded to say the least. Africa is truly a beautiful and amazing place with exciting things to see around every corner. I can’t speak highly enough of our guides, Vincent in Uganda and George in Tanzania, who were very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, flexible and a lot of fun to be with. They bring the whole experience to a high level of enjoyment and we would have been lost without them. Also, the places we stayed were brilliant and the staff attentive and jovial. We enjoyed their company a great deal. They couldn’t do enough for us. The other thing I have been really impressed with is the fact that we have been able to get extremely close to the animals and birds and they are totally unfussed by our presence which translates into the most amazing photo and video opportunities. This is because, as our guides say, the animals “know the deal”. Obviously everyone is doing the right thing and respecting the animals space.
So now we have sadly farewelled Zambia and are in the A’Zambezi River Lodge (another amazing place on this beautiful river) with 7 warthogs grazing on the lawn below our balcony. Don’t see that very often in Australia! We have met our group ( only 5 guests and all from Australia including 2 from our own home town!) and our guide, Jonathon, who seems to have a real passion for his job and this country so we are looking forward to the next 21 days on our Southern Experience. We met Corne twice in Tanzania and what a lovely man he was so please give him our very best regards. Warmest regards to yourself as well and hopefully we’ll catch up with you when you come to Adelaide.
PS. I nearly forgot to thank you for your recommendation to have a sunset cruise on the Ra-Ikane. A beautiful boat with a very romantic atmosphere. We felt very spoilt indeed.
Warmest regards, Kay and Mauro
Gail Foulkes –
We have recently returned from our safari in Tanzania and I wanted to say how perfect everything was and how safe we felt. We had Elisha as our tour guide. He was amazing. Not only was he extremely knowledgable but he was interested in sharing his knowledge. He never failed so show interest in answering our questions. Nothing was too much for him even when we had had a very long day visiting Ngoro Ngoro Crater and then driving onto Serengetti. Elisha heard there was a sighting of a leopard up a tree. He turned the Toyota round and headed in the other direction just so we could see the leopard. We did see it and we also saw it come down the tree! So exciting. And this was how the whole safari was. One amazing thing after another, all beautifully organised – the lodges and camp welcoming, clean and interesting, and even the food was excellent. I was brought up in Kenya and have been on several safaris but this safari far excelled anything I had anticipated. I want to thank Jenman for putting together the itinerary and even with long days driving it was so inspiring with Elisha always there with his knowledge. Elisha is also an excellent driver. Always taking care and thinking of the passengers as we drove along the more than potholed roads.
Thanks so much.

It has been a month since Gail Foulkes and I have returned from our once in a lifetime safari.. I am still in the glow of the African sun. I just want to reiterate all that Gail said… Jenman was so very organized and provided us with a wonderful safari.
We arrived a day early before our official safari started.. Elisha Emmanuel Mangula was waiting for us at 9:30pm after our long 19 hour flight… We were tired and excited and it was a wonderful relief to have someone ready to take care of us… Little did we know how expertise Elisha was at being the best guide ever!!! As the safari started it became apparent Elisha was very knowledgeable about the animals and the area’s… but we also realized that he really liked his job and would go the extra distance and take the time that was needed in finding the rare leopard, lions and special photo opportunities… We had long days yet none of us (5 in our group) could believe how fast the time went and how much we saw!!! Never did Elisha hint at being tired, but instead was enthusiastic and ready to “see more”… And I think he was always on schedule for entering and exiting the parks, keeping the day moving without feeling rush.. The pace of the day was perfect!!! I can’t imagine a better guide that Elisha..
Going to Africa was a dream of mine for over 30 years.. Eyes on Africa, Jenman and Elisha, along with my friend Gail made my dream come true big time… I didn’t know what to expect and I wasn’t sure if all my dreams and expectations were a bit over blown.. This trip was so much more than I had ever dreamed.. The organization, the accommodations, seeing Africa with it’s landscape and animals and being with such wonderful people made the trip truly unforgettable.
Thank you so very much,
Sue Borsian

My husband and I decided to do a safari for our honeymoon, after lots of research we chose Tanzania and Jenman safari’s. We had high hopes for our first safari and first visit to Africa and it didn’t disappoint. We can honestly say this was the best holiday we have ever been on and we are both well traveled. Our tour guides Jephter and Ibrahim were just brilliant, they both knew there stuff and were able to locate the animals each day. We saw lions and their cubs (13 cubs) leopards, elephants, cheetah with cub and so much more, we even got see lions on their honeymoon :). We cannot thank Jephter and Ibrahim enough they were so so great made the tour. We chose to go for the mid range accommodation option, all of which were lovely all staff so welcoming, great facilities even in the middle of the Serengetti. It was amazing to be lieing in bed listening to amazing wildlife right outside, zebras, hyenas and even a hippopotamus, we felt so safe with the massi walking around at night keeping look out. If anyone is considering booking Wildlife Breakway Tanzania with Jenman we both would highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back.
