Experience an amazing African safari which will take you from Cape Town to Victoria Falls! This camping safari is one of our most popular Safari tours and is an absolute classic taking you across Southern Africa to all the highlights of this beautiful part of the world.
A small group northern explorer adventure safari from Cape Town to Victoria Falls through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe – 22 Days
Cape Town – One of the major attractions that entice tourists on South African safaris to visit the city of Cape Town is that of the city’s most prized monument – Table Mountain. Over 1000 metres high, the summit of Table Mountain can be reached by either climbing the trails or taking the cable car.
Fish River Canyon – The Fish River Canyon boasts a drop of 1, 800ft (550m) in some areas and reaches 17 miles (27km) at its widest point, measurements that place this as a must-see highlight on your northern explorer safari!
Sossusvlei – The Sossusvlei Dunes are a massive highlight on your northern explorer safari, and can measure up to a massive 300m! The older a dune in the Sossusvlei region, the brighter the red colour of the sand, ensuring that a sunrise or sunset spent in the viewing of these dunes makes for a magical memory!
Namib-Naukluft Desert – The Namib-Naukluft National Park is home to some of the rarest plant and animal species on the planet, making a safari through this Namibian National Park a must! Some highlights include the Oryx, the springbok, and Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra, as well as the bizarre-looking Welwitschia Mirabilism.
Etosha National Park – The Etosha National Park features several waterholes that provide some of the best game viewing opportunities during the dry season, when the surrounding lands are dry and arid. On one of our Namibian safaris, you’ll be able to sit at the edge of these waterholes and view the variety of wildlife that visits the waterhole throughout the day.
Okavango Delta – When you take your Botswana safari through the Okavango Delta, you will have the opportunity to explore the natural environment that supports large herds of Elephant, Antelope and Buffalo, as well as Hippopotamus, Giraffe, Crocodile, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Wildebeest, Rhinoceros, Zebra, Baboon and countless others.
Chobe National Park – Chobe National Park is well known for the beautiful Savuti region, a definite highlight on our safari in Botswana. On our Chobe National Park safari, you will experience one of many natural phenomena, such as witnessing one of the largest elephant herds in the world, or possibly the annual zebra migration.
Victoria Falls – Victoria Falls has been called “the greatest known curtain of falling water” – and it is a truly spectacular site to see. Victoria Falls borders on Zambia and Zimbabwe, and can be viewed from vast distances from both sides. Columns of spray can be felt from miles away as 546 million cubic meters of water per minute plummet over the edge.
