Tour Highlights

Kruger National Park – There are eight main gates in the Kruger National Park, and the Park itself is home to six ecosystems, 517 different bird species and the world-renowned Big Five. A study conducted into 2009 revealed that the Park hosts up to 1 500 lions, 11 600 elephants, 27 000 buffalos, 1 000 leopards and 350 black rhinos.

Game walks – The walk is not too strenuous and gives you the opportunity to encounter giraffe, zebra, warthog and kudu, to mention just a few.

Game drives – Enjoy 3-4 hour long game drives for another opportunity to spot wildlife that you could not find during your game walk.

The camp has five chalets and a tree house where more adventurous guests can sleep under the stars. Two of the chalets are family units.
The camp facilities include a main area which houses a comfortable lounge area with two sitting areas and a library. The dining room has a large table where, as per safari tradition, everyone dines together to enjoy each other’s company and share stories of the day’s game sightings.

Day 1 – 5: Africa on Foot Camp or similar

Flights: Jenman Safaris can arrange all domestic and regional flights for this itinerary. Please enquire with our reservations office.

Transport: Airport transfers are usually conducted in sedan vehicles or minibuses. The game drives will take place in open 4×4 vehicles.

Travelling Times and Distances: All travelling times are affected by road conditions, border crossings, detours and weather conditions, therefore on certain days travelling times may be longer than anticipated especially where there is a lot of distance to be covered. Please keep in mind that the time it takes to travel 100 km in your home country is not equivalent to the time it takes to travel 100 km on African roads, therefore we encourage you to sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery Africa has to offer. Where possible additional stops will be made to ensure your travelling comfort at all times.

Meals: Meals as per itinerary.

Visas: The onus is on the client to organize all visas required for clients to visit South Africa and Zimbabwe prior to departure.
