Small-group lodge safari through, from Maun to Victoria Falls through Botswana and Zimbabwe. Discover some of the most beautiful scenery and wildlife that Africa has to offer – 9 Days

Highlights:

Moremi National Park – Moremi has been described as one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Africa, with a great diversity of plant and animal life – making it a ‘must see’ for any Botswana Safari.  Moremi contains – within its boundaries – approximately 20% of the Delta, and a vast range of habitats, acacia forests, floodplains, reed beds, lagoons, enduring wetland through mopane forest, and dry savanna woodland.

Okavango Delta – The Okavango Delta is both a permanent and seasonal home to hundreds of species of animals and birds. Conservationists have taken a great interest in the preservation of the Botswana Delta, as it is such an exceptional area of Africa.

Chobe National Park – Chobe National Park is well known for the beautiful Savuti region, a definite highlight on our safari in Botswana.  On our Chobe National Park safari, you will experience one of many natural phenomena, such as witnessing one of the largest elephant herds in the world, or possibly the annual zebra migration

Victoria Falls – Located on the Zambezi River, it has been described as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, Victoria Falls is classified as the largest. Victoria Falls is roughly twice the height of North America’s Niagara Falls.

Travelling Time & Distances: All travelling times are affected by road conditions, border crossings, detours and weather conditions, therefore on certain days travelling times may be longer than anticipated especially where there is a great distance to be covered. Please keep in mind that the time it takes to travel 100 km in your home country is not equivalent to the time it takes to travel 100 km on African roads, therefore we encourage you to sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery Africa has to offer. Where possible additional stops will be made to ensure your travelling comfort at all times.

Meals: Where included most breakfasts and dinners will be enjoyed in the restaurants of the various accommodation establishments, however, on certain nights the guide will provide an authentic meal for the group, which will be enjoyed together in the evening, often around a campfire. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance.

Visas: The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit Botswana and Zimbabwe prior to departure. Please note that travellers entering Botswana will be required to present a valid international health certificate of vaccination for yellow fever should they originate from or have travelled through countries which have been declared yellow fever infected areas within the preceding 6 months.

Please ensure you arrange your own insurance with protection for the full duration of your journey to cover personal injury, damage and loss of personal items including but not limited to camera equipment and other electronic items, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of luggage, etc. Please speak to your travel agent if you require assistance.

Making your Travels Meaningful: The Grow Africa Foundation (163-738 NPO) is the responsible tourism initiative started by Jenman African Safaris and Hideaways. The focus of Grow Africa is to make a positive impact on the environment, society and economy in the places we travel to. Loved this trip! It really felt like getting into true wilderness – we hardly saw other vehicles on our game drives. The guides were excellent and the accommodation was great, and the whole trip was really well organised.

We went on a wonderful 9 day budget Botswana Lodge Safari Adventure 6th-14th August. We liked our guide, Lucky, our driver, Rex. They were informative, helpful, fun. One AWFUL thing was the 12 passenger vehicle: uncomfortable, little padding, no suspension. Couldn’t hear Lucky speak unless were seated near front. We had an unnecessary 11 hour bumpy dirt road drive from Khwai River to Chobe National; other groups flew!! It wasted a day. Besides that, it was an awesome experience! The African people are delightful, welcoming, happy & kind.
