Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens

Comprising of about 528-hectares of fertile land encompassing long green lawns, colourful flowers, cool forests and refreshing streams which make it a scenic outing for friends and family. Whilst visiting the Gardens during your South African safari with us, you’ll be able enjoy the many picnic areas, hiking trails, walking paths, shops, restaurants, exhibitions and popular summer evening concerts that can be found there.

Seated at the base of the eastern slopes of the Wonder of the World, Table Mountain, the Kirstenbosch Gardens boasts an almost completely indigenous flora, with the plants that are cultivated in the greenhouses are native to the region.

The Gardens are open every day of the year, making it a viable stop over whilst on a South African safari, and is home to some fascinating birds, small ground animals, tree mammals and reptiles that thrive in the indigenous flora.

Feel free to contact us with an enquiry regarding a possible South African safari that includes a visit to the Kirstenbosch Gardens, or read up about some of the other attractions that can be enjoyed in South Africa.
