Anne from the USA recently embarked on her Madagascar dream holiday with us, Jenman Safaris, by visiting the eastern parts of Madagascar including many well-known and popular national parks. Anne didn’t have much to tell us except that she had a blast! Below is what she had to say about her holiday, especially how her favourite part of touring Madagascar was “the warmth of the local people and their caring, giving and welcoming nature.”
I had a great time in Madagascar, thanks to your attentive service everything ran smoothly.
Just to give you some feedback… Andasibe National Park was my ultimate destination and the guide you set us up was extremely knowledgeable on Andasibe and all of the other areas we visited as well all of the flora and fauna we saw!
All of the accommodation was good (clean and comfortable) and better then I expected. I know that Madagascar is an undiscovered area and so I prepared myself for “undiscovered” accommodation and was pleasantly surprised. The food was superb – breakfast was French rolls & jams and lunch & dinner was seafood, seafood and seafood.
My goal was to see lemurs and I saw plenty of different types including brown lemurs and Indri Indri. I was surprised to see many exotic looking chameleons; I didn’t know that Madagascar had a huge variety of them.
The only thing I have to complain about is that for 2 days of the 10 days that we were there we experienced heavy rainfall… wasn’t that fabulous to be honest, but it’s Mother Nature. In this regard, maybe you should tell clients to take a raincoat just in case. However, the rest of the days were hot hot hot.
The unexpected highlight for me was the warmth of the local people and their caring, giving and welcoming nature… was really special. Anyway before I go on and on… thank you very much! I will definitely use Jenman again.
