Attractions du circuit

Le Cap, Afrique du Sud – One of the major attractions that entice tourists on South African safaris to visit the city of Cape Town is that of the city’s most prized monument – Table Mountain. Over 1000metres high, the summit of Table Mountain can be reach by either climbing the trails or taking the cable car. The landmark mountain extends all the way to Cape Point and includes Lion’s Head, Devil’s Peak and other interesting and beautiful hiking areas.

Fish River Canyon – When you journey into the 100-mile course of this incredible canyon, you’re adventuring into the very myths and legends that inform the culture of the San Bushmen who still inhabit Namibia today. The legend goes that a serpent named Kouteign Kooru, fleeing from its pursuers and potential captors, carved the canyons with the turns and twists of its massive body.

Orange River – Canoe down one of the longest rivers on the African continent

Windhoek - Sossusvlei, Namibie – The Sossusvlei area is fed by a river called the Tsuachab River – the dunes actually prevent the entire pathway of this river. The Tsuachab River only flows right through Sossusvlei every 5 to 10 years, making it a rare sight to see.The Sossusvlei dunes are about 60km from the Sesriem gate which is about an hours drive.

Namib-Naukluft Desert – On our northern experience safari, you’ll be able to journey into the land of bright gold and magical sand dunes, whilst taking in the spectacular sights that the Namib-Naukluft National Park, which is also the largest nature conservation area in Namibia, has to offer!

Parc national d'Etosha, Namibie – Etosha means ‘huge white area’ or ‘place of dry water’, and the National Park certainly lives up to this description! It’s a vast shallow pan, which shines brightly in the African sun due to crystallized salt on the surface of the ground.

Delta d'Okavango – When you take your northern experience safari through the Okavango Delta, you will have the opportunity to explore the natural environment that supports large herds of Elephant, Antelope and Buffalo, as well as Hippopotamus, Giraffe, Crocodile, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Wildebeest, Rhinoceros, Zebra, Baboon and countless others.

Parc national de Chobe –  Chobe National Park is well known for the beautiful Savuti region, a definite highlight on our safari in Botswana.  On our Chobe National Park safari, you will experience one of many natural phenomena, such as witnessing one of the largest elephant herds in the world, or possibly the annual zebra migration.

Chutes Victoria, Zimbabwe – Victoria Falls has been called “the greatest known curtain of falling water” and it is a truly spectacular site to see. Victoria Falls borders on Zambia and Zimbabwe, and can be viewed from vast distances from both sides. Columns of spray can be felt from miles away as 546 million cubic meters of water per minute plummet over the edge.

First let me tell you, the tour far exceeded the expectations I held when I started.
Our journey started in Cape Town, we met everyone and our great tour guide Cornelius, whose knowledge was very enthusiastic, got us excited about our tour and showed us some amazing sights. The trip just kept getting better, with scenery and the accommodation. The vehicle was very comfortable and the windows were big, great to take photos through without any problems. Some days were longer in the vehicle than others, but there was plenty of scenery to check out or catch up on socialising. I felt the food was definitely adequate for me and an especially enjoyed the African meals they cooked for us. It wasn’t long into the trip, that our group knitted into a great relationship, which I will cherish (an amazing group of people)
Our tour guide was Biggie and our driver was Brilliant, I cannot speak more highly of them both, with some of the conditions of the roads, I felt extremely safe with the driving (Brilliant kept the bus very clean and comfortable, sweeping the bus out and cleaning windows ready for the next day) it didn’t get unnoticed.
Biggies knowledge and enthusiasm of birds, animals, countries, down to information on every aspect that we might need to know just blew me away, his sense of humour was quite infectious and shone through, his knowledge just kept on coming, even though our meal times.
There two incredible people made for a great team, therefore, made me, and I think speak for everyone else’s tour A TRIP OF A LIFETIME

What a wonderful adventure the 24 day Northern Experience was! From the beauty and majesty of Table Mountain to the spectacular Victoria Falls, this trip was a sensual experience from start to finish. The scenery was stunning and so varied, always something new and different to see every day. We saw so many beautiful birds and animals (and their young), stayed in amazing locations (in very good accommodation) with fantastic views and magical sunrises and sunsets. We were fortunate to have Biggie and Brilliant as our guide and driver as they were such a wonderful team and truly enhanced our experience over the trip. Their professionalism and dedication to their jobs were noticed by all, as well as the long hours they put in each day to keep us well fed, the bus clean and all our questions and needs are taken care of. Be prepared for early starts each day and some long drives between locations (which were broken up with amazing scenery, animals, regular breaks and the odd nap if needed!) and absorb the sights, sounds and tranquillity of Africa that this tour has to offer. Enjoy!

We have just completed a 24 day Safari from Cape Town to Victoria Falls with Jenman. The trip was amazing. We spent 14 days exploring Namibia. The Terrain in Namibia varies a great deal. The plains near the Orange River are very fertile and ideal for growing citrus fruits and grapes. There are several different mountain ranges, all spectacular and varied in size and shapes. Namibia also has the worlds 2nd largest Canyon called Fish River Canyon which is quite spectacular. There are also large desert areas that stretch for hundreds of Kilometres. The sand dunes at Sossusvlei are absolutely spectacular. Etosha National Park has thousands of African animals and covers over 2000 square kilometres. In the North of Namibia there is a narrow strip of fertile land near the Chobe River and the Okavango delta which has millions of litres of water and is a haven for Elephants, Hippopotamus and Water Buffaloes. This delta eventually flows to the Kalahari desert and never reaches an ocean. This region is called Caprivi.
We went into Botswana which also contains this rich delta.
Our last few days were spent in Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. The helicopter flight over the Falls was absolutely amazing and One of our many highlights of the trip.
Our guide Alfred Mhini and driver Bernard Tshunoa were fantastic. They were both most professional, efficient and knowledgeable. They worked well as a team and prepared many superb meals for us. Bernard was a skilled driver and able to maintain the vehicle which was driven through rough and bumpy terrain. Bernard would stop the vehicle at our request for photos. Alfred was able to identify all of the birds and animals for us. They made everyone in group feel special and they had a great sense of humour which made our trip most enjoyable. Alfred also had a great knowledge of the history of the people of the various area.
We would highly recommend this affordable Jenman Safari
