Description
Meno-a-Kwena is situated on a rocky clifftop above the Boteti River in Botswana. The camp is ideally located in full view of exciting wildlife activity at the river in front of camp. Southern Africa’s largest zebra and wildebeest migration congregate at the river during the dry season (May to November).
The canvas tented safari camp accommodates guests in 9 tents – 7 twins and 2 doubles. Each tent is classically-styled with local woven fabrics mixed with colonial-style furniture. All have fully equipped ensuite bathrooms and the two new family units, both have inter-leading tents, perfect for kids.
With an array of activities to be enjoyed, Meno-a-Kwena is the perfect safari getaway destination.

Meno a Kwena near the Makgadikgadi Pans is definitely one of the best properties that I have stayed at. I was very impressed with the stylish decor and the luxury tents, as well as the exceptional service with excellent attention to detail, but relaxing by the pool and looking out over the Boteti River was how I spent most of my time. I was also completely blown away by the Nxai and Makgadikgadi Pans, to be surrounded by such vast nothingness and emptiness was an amazing feeling. The unique ecosystem of the salt pans was an interesting change from the bush and river deltas of Moremi and Khwai. I absolutely loved the adorable Meerkat encounter and felt I could have spent hours there. Another amazing highlight was meeting with the San Bushmen and learning about their ancient culture and witnessing a traditional ceremony. Overall, one of my all-time favourite trips.
