Serengeti Sopa Lodge

The Serengeti Sopa Lodge is perched on the Nyarobo Hills, surrounded by acacia woodland, overlooking the seemingly endless plains of the Serengeti National Park. The park is home to the Big Five – elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards and cheetah and much more – and is host to the annual wildebeest migration, a sight not to be missed! With endless game viewing and bird watching opportunities from the comfort of your private glass fronted verandah, your stay at the Serengeti Sopa Lodge will be a memorable one!

69 Rooms
The brightly decorated standard rooms are spacious and comfortable. Their rustic charm is enhanced by the local fabrics and paintings used throughout the rooms. All the rooms feature 2 queen size beds and a glass fronted verandah with 2 comfortable chairs and a coffee table with views across the vast Serengeti Plains.

1 of these rooms is suitable for the physically handicapped.

4 Suites
The spacious double storey suites feature a lounge area on the ground floor where one can dine and a private balcony facing the Serengeti Plains, ideal for relaxing and watching the wildlife. The upper area features a bedroom with a king size bed on a raised wooden platform, and an open plan en-suite bathroom with bathtub facing the plains. The suites are also equipped with an outside open shower. The interior of the suites are painted with the same colours as the main building, terracotta, mustard and blue, which is incorporated in the fabrics.
