Le Paille En Queue is a smaller hotel, close to the airport and just a few minutes from the centre of Tulear. It is a good place to overnight before travelling south to Anakao and Tsimanampetsotsa National Park. The hotel has a large swimming pool and sun deck, good for relaxing after a day of travelling or birding. There is also a tennis court and a small shop. The poolside restaurant serves excellent meals; seafood is a particular specialty.
