Camp Chobe is situated in the Eastern Caprivi, merely 3 km from the Ngoma border post between Botswana and Namibia, across the river from the world renowned Chobe Nature Reserve, home to one of the largest concentrations of elephant on the African continent. The reserve is located in the far north of Botswana, bordering on the Chobe River. Chobe is particularly well known for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as the two antelope that cannot be encountered anywhere else in Botswana, the Puku and the Chobe bushbuck.
Sprawled along the banks of the back waters, Camp Chobe flawlessly combines the best of this unique inland flood plain – the peace and serenity of gliding through waterways lined with lush aquatic plants and the excitement of searching for big game through endless miles of green grassland
Camp Chobe offers twenty light and airy tented suites combining canvas and indigenous mopane wood into a serene, earthy, organic and eco-friendly abode. With stunning views across the channels looking out onto the spectacular Chobe scenery, guests are in for a treat. Each tented chalet has a romantic deck, indoor en-suite bathroom and refreshing shower offering views onto the river.
