Our Tanzania Wildlife Breakaway Camping safari allows to you to enjoy the East African bush as you camp under the stars within or near to popular Tanzania National Parks. This is a small group safari with the first night accommodated in a lodge and all other nights camping in 3 man dome tents.

Day 1: Arusha
You will be collected from the airport and transferred to your lodge in the forests outside Arusha.
Depending on your arrival time, you will have an opportunity to explore the lodge grounds, go for a dip in the swimming pool or partake in any of the offered additional activities available. [D]

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park - Manyara
After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari.
Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. [BLD]

Day 3: Manyara National Park
After coffee we head towards Lake Manyara National Park for an early game drive. The spectacular national park is located at the northwestern corner of a shallow soda lake that it is named after, at the foot of the Great Rift Valleys western escarpment. Manyara is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos but also for the elusive tree climbing lions.
We head back to the lodge for lunch and to rest in the heat of the day, before we return for an afternoon game drive. [BLD]

Day 4: Manyara – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast we drive up the Rift Valley escarpment towards the world famous
Ngorongoro Crater. A spectacular drive up the crater wall leads us to the entrance of this magnificent wildlife sanctuary, where we spend several hours exploring the floor of the crater. After lunch we depart from the crater and head for the Serengeti National Park, game driving along the way. [BLD]

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
An early start as we head out for a game drive after breakfast in the Serengeti National Park. We return for lunch at the lodge and spend the afternoon on a game walk before we go for a night game drive, returning to camp for dinner. [BLD]

Day 6: Serengeti National Park – Manyara
Today we retrace our steps with a morning game drive through the Serengeti followed by lunch, before we continue our game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En-route we visit Olduvai Gorge and the museum which documents the discovery of 1.8 million year old human-like fossils. [BLD]

Day 7: Manyara - Arusha
After breakfast we explore the colorful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last minute pictures and curio shopping.
Afterwards we head to Arusha where the tour will end at our offices. [B]
