Tuningi Safari Lodge is situated in the world renowned 165, 000 acre malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve and offers both local and international guests a superior product enhanced by an impressive Big 5 safari experience.

This private and exclusive lodge is set on the rolling slopes of the Reserve and is built around an ancient fig tree after which the lodge is named. The main thatched lodge offers a sumptuous lounge, a spacious dining room and a well-stocked bar with an impressive rim flow pool that overlooks a watering hole, all interlinked by a sweeping wooden deck that leads to the boma area.

Day 1
Spend two nights at Tuningi Safari Lodge. Twice-daily interpretive game-drives and optional nature walks, are enjoyed at no additional cost. All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans, gas fireplaces, en-suite bathrooms, beautifully appointed baths, outdoor rock showers and private wrap around wooden decks. The design brief for Tuningi Safari Lodge was to create space by blending interiors with the bush through the utilization of retractable doors and windows wherever possible. |
