| 4-Day Chongwe River Camp Package | Duration : 4 day Priced From: $ 1290 | |
Chongwe River Camp, in the Lower Zambezi Game Reserve, is a luxury bush camp situated in an abundant wilderness area in Zambia - elephants are more numerous than people in the Albia grove. | There are no fences at Chongwe, so animals are free to roam and have complete right of way. Without even leaving the camp, guests are able to see and hear a wide variety of wildlife. Relaxing in the sitting area overlooking the river, you will see a constant procession of game wandering down to drink, as well as over 250 species of birds. Chongwe River Camp is a family-owned-and-run business dedicated not only to providing your dream safari experience, but also to offering the sort of hospitality that is usually only found at home.

Day 1 Activities & Facilities
Choose from a variety of activities, ranging from game drives and bush walks to fishing for tiger fish and boat trips down the Zambezi River.. Exceptional game-viewing opportunities are available from the camp. The Lower Zambezi is renowned for superb canoeing safaris ? the most unobtrusive way of encountering big game. Day and night game drives can also be arranged, as well as walking safaris, affording time to learn some of the no-so-well-known facts of the bush.
The lodge features ten chalets and a honeymoon suite, all of which have their own en-suite bathrooms carefully built behind the chalets themselves. Each chalet has its own deck in front of the entrance, with either locally made chairs or deck chairs in which you can relax and enjoy the incredible scenery that surrounds you. |
