Our Tanzania Wildlife and Cultural Safari mixes the very best of East Africa’s culture with Tanzania’s iconic wildlife! Discover the diverse cultures of Tanzania by visiting a local school within the Manyara region and by exploring the lifestyles of tribes such as the Maasai people. Indulge in local foods supplied by the people of Tanzania and experience African cultures up close and personal while also enjoying world famous game drives through Serengeti, Tarangire National Park and many more. This tour provides the perfect balance between breath-taking game drives and life-changing cultural experiences that are unique to Tanzania.

Tarangire National Park – Known for its large Elephant population, baobab trees and incredible views.
Lake Manyara National Park – Famous for its large flocks of flamingos and elusive tree climbing lions.
Manyara region – Experience African culture at its finest with a local school visit and a visit to the centre for disabled kids in the Manyara region. A cultural visit within the village will also take place with traditional African lunches included.
Maasai Boma – Discover the unique traditions of the Maasai people by taking a visit to the Maasai Boma for the cultural encounter of a life time.
Lake Eyasi – Here one will discover the cultures of the local Bushmen & Blacksmith communities. Get up close and personal with the Hadzabe tribe, who live in groups and hunt with bow and arrows, can be found within Lake Eyasi.
Ngorongoro Crater – One of Africa’s most well known game viewing areas to view the famous big 5 and a small population of endangered black rhino’s can also be spotted here.
We make use of mid-range lodge accommodation. Your accommodation is situated either in National Parks, on the banks of a river, or in other places of interest. The accommodation will be a mix of lodges, chalets and permanent tented chalets with en-suite facilities. Some properties are equipped with swimming pools and/or bar areas.

Group Size: Minumium 4, Maximum 12 (Guaranteed departures with no minimum group size available)
Vehicles: Jenman African Safaris uses fully equipped customized 12-seater 4×4 safari vehicles, Toyota Land Cruisers or other appropriate vehicles with comfortable seating, large windows for game viewing and a music system. The vehicles are fully air-conditioned and equipped with pop-up roofs to facilitate the best game viewing. All luggage, besides hand luggage and photo equipment, is carried on the vehicle roof rack or trailer to ensure maximum comfort in the vehicle.
Meals: Breakfast and dinner will be prepared by the lodge where you are staying. They will also prepare lunch or a lunch pack depending on the itinerary for the day. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements in advance.
First Aid: Our guides are trained in basic first aid and the vehicle is equipped with a medical aid kit. Preventative Malaria medication should be taken before the trip and throughout its duration and it is advisable to consult a doctor prior to departure. Yellow Fevervaccinations are compulsory – please contact your Travel Clinic before departure.
Travelling Times and Distances: All travelling times are affected by road conditions, border crossings, detours and weather conditions, therefore on certain days travelling times may be longer than anticipated especially where there is a lot of distance to be covered. Please keep in mind that the time it takes to travel 100 km in your home country is not equivalent to the time it takes to travel 100 km on African roads, therefore we encourage you to sit back and enjoy the spectacular scenery Africa has to offer. Where possible additional stops will be made to ensure your travelling comfort at all times.
Visas: The onus is on the client to organize all visas required for a visit to Tanzania prior to departure.
Travel Insurance: Please note that travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory for every guest travelling with Jenman African Safaris. All insurance is solely the responsibility of our guests. Please ensure you arrange your own insurance with protection for the full duration of your journey to cover personal injury, damage and loss of personal items including but not limited to camera equipment and other electronic items, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of luggage, etc. Please speak to your travel agent if you require assistance.
