Jenman African Safaris has appointed Katja Quasdorf as Chief Executive Officer.
“I’m excited for the leadership change for Jenman African Safaris as it will streamline decision-making, implementation and communication for the company,” says Garth Jenman, Managing Director and founder of Jenman African Safaris.
Quasdorf joined the Jenman team 12 years ago and brings to her role as the new CEO a new focus on implementing the company strategy and direction through a senior management team.
Jenman African Safaris has worked hard to become one of the most respected safari tour operators in Southern Africa, East Africa and Madagascar. A solid and strong management team and strong travel products have made this possible.
Four years ago, Jenman African Safaris created the brand Hideaways with the vision to create a portfolio of bespoke eco-lodges committed to life-changing experiences, allowing guests to experience Africa’s uniqueness with the highest levels of comfort and individual service. Guests play an active part in the conservation of Africa’s wildlife, natural habitat and support of local communities.
In 2017, Jenman African Safaris will be focusing and improving their safari vehicle fleet, all custom-made in Cape Town, and re-looking at the current market to identify key areas of product changes required to remain one of the top safari operators. Furthermore, Katja Quasdorf and Garth Jenman are committed to growing Hideaways’ portfolio and realising more opportunities for Jenman African Safaris and Hideaways.
