Day 1
ANTANANARIVO. On arrival to Antananarivo, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the Palissandre hotel & Spa.  The 4* hotel is situated on a hill in the heart of Antananarivo, the bustling capital of Madagascar.  With its exotic yet elegant rosewood interior, the Palissandre Hotel offers you Malagasy hospitality, with comfortable air-conditioned rooms containing a safe, minibar, satellite TV and telephone.

Day 2-6
ANJAJAVYAn early transfer to Antananarivo airport will see you take your connection flight from Tana to Anjajavy. You’ll be picked up at the airport in Anjajavy and transferred via charter flight to your hotel.

Anjajavy is situated in the southwestern part of Majunga, at the end of a peninsula, which opens to the “Mozambique Canal”. The hotel is situated in a bay with white, sandy beaches, it is really paradise! This is the first “Relais & Chateau” property in Madagascar and the hotels architecture and bungalows are designed to offer the maximum comfort for the guests with a traditional Malagasy touch. All the bungalows are made and decorated with rose wood and the roofs are thatched with Satrana. Both are indigenous the country.

The next few days are at your leisure. Anjajavy is a paradise with its white sandy beach, the sea of emerald color, the luxuriant vegetation laying at its background..  
Guests can enjoy snorkelling and do some walks in the forest where they can see lemurs and birds.

The bungalows are all spacious with a private terrace overlooking the sea, a living room with a small place for breakfast, and a bedroom.  Upstairs there is a room designed for relaxing, which can also be used as a room for children. The bathroom is equipped with a huge bath , and a separate toilet.
An individual air conditioner maintains the bungalow in a normal temperature. Every bungalow also has a mini bar and a small shower for use after enjoying the beach.
 
The restaurant overlooks the swimming pool and the ocean, and offers  French cuisine with seafood specialities.

The hotel offers laundry service (additional fee), telephone, television, and 24 hour room service. Guests stay at Anjajavy on a full board basis.

There are plenty of activities and excursions to keep you busy, and included free of charge, you can enjoy wind surfing, snorkelling, Waterskiing, Catamaran, walking excursions, fitness classes, Canoe through Mangroves & trips on a traditional pirogue.

For payable activities you can enjoy boat trips, fishing excursions & mountain biking.
The hotel has a 200 m2 swimming pool facing the sea, surrounded by a tropical garden.
At the back of the hotel, there is a forest with many animals. Fully signed trails are at visitor’s disposal to enjoy walking inside the forest and to lead to the nearby village. Many excursions on foot are available such as “ les pieds dans l’eau” which crosses the mangrove during the low tide, “ Crique en Crique” which is walking across the different creeks around, “ la balade du géant” which is discovering the huge baobab (of 3m diameter), “ a la rencontre des Sakalava” which is a trekking in the forest to meet the local tribe Sakalava. Day 7

Anjajavy to Tana. Your flight from Anjajavy arrives in Tana around 2pm. You will be collected from the airport & once again transferred into Town to stay at the Palissandre hotel & Spa. [B]
